SACRAMENTO TEMPLE
My beliefs run deep like a river
Not shallow as brook or rill
Immersed in the gospel of Jesus
I’m bound to obey His will
My testimony is sure and strong
Spirit to spirit made known
Many have tried to sway me
But I look to my God alone
For He is my Source and Salvation
He is the sword I wield
I have studied and prayed for answers
Have received of His truth revealed
The Holy Spirit speaks powerfully
Though His whisper is still and small
He leaves an indelible impression
That speaks to my heart and soul
“If any of ye lack wisdom”
(And I know I certainly do)
Go to God in humble prayer
His truth He’ll reveal to you
Yes, I have many a weakness
But my spirit gives praise to God
With His faithful help I shall overcome
As I cling to the Iron Rod
